FAST GROWING NON-BANK LENDER OPENS LAS VEGAS OFFICE
Hires Former Bank of America Assistant Vice President
LAS VEGAS, NEV - June, 2000 - Business Lenders LLC, a non-bank, Small Business Administration (SBA) lender, continues its nationwide growth by establishing a presence in the Nevada market. Pamela Wilson brings more than 15 years of small business finance experience to Business Lenders as loan officer for the state of Nevada, based in Las Vegas.
Wilson comes to Business Lenders from Bank of America, where she was assistant vice president and financial relationship manager. In that capacity, she was responsible for all aspects of SBA loan development for the Las Vegas region, including originating SBA loans from commercial brokers and bank branch systems and coordinating with underwriters and processors to schedule approval and closing of construction, 504 and 7a SBA loans.
"As a non-bank lender, our lending efforts aren't subject to the same kinds of restrictions as those faced by banks," says Business Lenders Senior Vice President Joseph Miller. A Henderson, Nevada resident, Wilson earned an A.A. in banking and finance from the University of Colorado, and is working toward her B.A. at Phoenix University in Las Vegas. Wilson received the Spirit Award from the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce in 1999; was voted Distinguished Woman of Southern Nevada for 1989 through 1999, and serves on the board of directors for SafeNest, a system that helps abused women start new lives.
