BUSINESS LENDERS EXPANDS INTO GEORGIA
Hires Former SBA Business Development Officer for New Office in Atlanta
ATLANTA, Ga. - April 7, 2000 - Business Lenders, LLC, a leading non-bank, Small Business Administration (SBA) lender, continues its nationwide growth by establishing a presence in the Georgia market. Shelley Lange, who has more than ten years of experience with banking and SBA lending programs, has joined Business Lenders as vice president and loan officer for the state of Georgia, based in their new office in Atlanta.
Lange comes to Business Lenders from the Business Growth Corporation of Georgia, where she was a business development officer for the SBA 504 loan program. Before joining the SBA, Lange served as loan officer for Citizens Trust Bank and Suntrust Bank.
"Shelley knows both bank and non-bank lending," says Business Lenders' President Gary Mullin. "She also has worked as a small business consultant for a South Carolina Small Business Development Center. With that kind of experience, she'll be a strong advocate for the small businesspeople who come to us for help."
Lange, who received her bachelor's of science degree in economics and accounting from the University of the West Indies and her master's degree in business administration from Winthrop University, resides in Austell.
Headquartered in Hartford, Connecticut, Business Lenders has approval to lend in 47 states.
