BUSINESS LENDERS ADDS ADDITIONAL LENDER IN PHOENIX
Hires Former VP from Union Bank
PHOENIX, Ariz. - April 4, 2000 - Business Lenders, LLC, a non-bank, Preferred Small Business Administration (SBA) lender, continues its nationwide growth -- and its commitment to the Arizona market -- by adding an additional lender to its Phoenix office.
Alan Jewells, who brings more than 10 years of experience in commercial lending and retail banking, comes to Business Lenders from Union Bank of Arizona, where he served as vice president of lending, responsible for the bank's SBA/Government Guaranteed lending programs. He previously had served in senior positions at Pacific Coast Mortgage, RMR Group, Century Bank, and the National Bank of North East.

Jewells, who has a bachelor of arts degree from Messiah College in Grantham, PA, has completed several post-graduate programs at the American Institute of Banking and the Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending. He resides in Upper Peoria.
